You’re standing at the top of a couloir that looks sketchy at best, downright dangerous at worst, your heart is somewhere up above your tonsils but your head is clear, your eyes keen and your sinews taught and eager, you can see the line you want to take but you can also see the one you will be following if you make a mistake... The line gravity would take you down. The scientific term for this is the geodesic distance, but those of us who have stared it down and survived prefer to call it The Fall Line – the fastest route down the mountain.
We have lived and worked in Val d'Isère for the last 13 seasons. We have skied all over the mountain, and partied all over town. While no bar can be all things to all people, we have taken a little bit of all those experiences and put it into what The Fall Line offers: somewhere to go during the afternoon to check email and relax, a good place to watch sport, a cracking après-ski, a civilised atmosphere for a few pre-dinner cocktails and at night a party bar to rival any in the Alps.
The easiest way to find us is to find the bus station in the center of town. Go back on yourself (towards La Daille) and take the first road left before "The Fjord" - Chalet Hotel. Go up the hill and the bar is situated right infront of you.
We'll be waiting with a warm welcome, cold drinks and good times.
